This West Coast Contemporary home was customized & restored by Homeworx in 2020. Originally designed by renowned architect Peter Wardle, it was important to Homeworx to preserve the modernism and mid-century aesthetics of the home. We were also very careful to preserve the mature designs of the landscape architecture surrounding the crisp black exterior. There are hidden paths, rare trees, established climbing vines, treasured water features, and sun trap outdoor seating areas, which are all carefully made private to the outside world.
Soaring ceiling heights, skylights, window seats, intimate spaces, black painted windows framing the garden views are just a few of the features. An expansive white stone island with seating for 4+, walnut cabinetry, and the coolest of light fixtures make the kitchen the hub of the home.
